1974 MGB GT

This is our most recent (and, I’m told, last!) MG acquisition.  We bought it from a couple near Newbury, Berkshire (again!), in October 2005.  It was extensively restored by Paul Depper MGs in 1988/9.  The paintwork was quite badly weathered when we bought it but we have since had it resprayed.  Since I use it as a daily driver, when it came to replacing the worn-out wire wheels we opted for centre-lock alloys.  Don’t let anyone ever tell you that a 30+ year-old car is not suitable for daily use – a GT most certainly is!
