The car is a MKIII 1275 chrome bumpered midget.  It was first registered 26th June 1971 and as such is tax exempt, fortunately for my bank account!  The colour is green, british racing green I think, although it has been re-sprayed twice since it rolled off the production line, having started as red and then going through yellow before attaining its' current green status. 

 I have owned it since October 2003, although I have done a fairly small mileage since then.  It does get used for work two or three times a week when the weather is reasonable and also at weekends (I try not to take it out in the rain too much!)  I purchased it quite by chance, the owner, who lives over the road, having put it up for sale on his front drive at the same time as our endowment mortgage came to fruition, thus providing ready funds.  It's reasonably sound, although I hope to smarten it up (new carpets, replacement bonnet) when I can get the funds and the time together.
