This car was first registered on 13th March 1981 and is believed to be No. 514 of 580 (the last batch) of GTLE Models produced.  It has been with the present owner for 8 years.

The car is original apart from the fitting of an electronic ignition system (ex - Austin Allegro) and the fitting of an 'ODD-JOB' device which automatically cancels the overdrive should any gear below 3rd be selected.

The car has been totally reliable, apart from a cracked plastic, filler plug on the thermostat housing on a trip to R.A.F. Cosford.  The longest trip has been to the 24 - Hour sports car race at Le Mans in 2007 when it did 850 miles via Poole/Cherbourg and went like a 'Train'.
