The club was started in 1979 but did not gain its present name until 1980 when it became affiliated to the MGOC.  We have one surviving member, Audrey, who was in at the beginning and she is our current President.  She is still driving the same MGB GT.

We currently have twenty-six members and we meet twice a month on the first and third Thursdays of the month.  The usual meeting place is at the Tudor House Hotel, Tewkesbury, GL20 5BH.  However, on the first Thursday during the summer months we like to give the cars a run and meet at other pubs.

Other regular events include a summer BBQ, a bonfire night party, a skittles evening, and carols and mince pies at Christmas.  In January we have a longer run followed by a bring and share lunch.  Our annual dinner takes place in February and the highlight of the year is the club's long weekend away.  This takes place in the autumn and in the past we have been to Devon and Wales.  Also, in the past we have taken the cars a little further afield on our club holidays to France.
